2010 Rewind

I'll never forget....

when my brother got married,

when my sister got married,

my birthday when my friends got

me around a 100 balloons,

my eighth grade basketball team,

swimming in the lake with

Megan, Alliyah, Amanda, and Sarah,

my English teacher Mrs Horvath,

hanging out with Tyson, Maddie and Kendall when we

pushed him in the lake, swallowed cinnamon,

and played the water and dark game,

when I chopped all my hair off

a few days before freshman year,

when I went to New York with my best friend,

when Kendall and I went to six

flags and rode eight roller coasters

in an hour,

all the Mercury games I brought

my friends to and all of our crazy outfits,

homecoming and winter formal dances,

when Sarah brought me to the

Justin Bieber concert,

going down a laundry shoot

and sledding down stairs,

all the crazy videos Kendall and I made,

licking packing peanuts onto our foreheads,

all the football games we went to,

all the crazy sleepovers at my house,

climbing on top of my roof with

all the girls and talking

playing Just Dance 2 for six hours straight,

almost drowning to death in Mexico,

that amazing summer,

going to Mazatlan with Sarah,

throwing ice at people off the balcony,

getting locked out on Megans balcony

and her spraying me with water guns,

winning the eighth grade championship,

dropping my phone in Megan's hot tub,

seeing my first scary movie,

kayaking in Sarah's pool,

tping somebody with a 120 rolls,

the day when we took pictures

with the security guards,

my visit to Poway, California,

playing Krazy Kickball with my Pe buddies,

getting a D on my first two Spanish tests

and thinking how I'll ever pass,

when my cousin and I got lost in Connecticut

about thirty minutes from where we actually

wanted to go,

going to Bashas with Kendall in Flagstaff,

confession circles with the girls,

our crazy doorbell videos,

going to the Cardinals game with Kendall,

movie nights,

witnessing a blizzard,

New Years eve and our epic fail.

2010 was a great year and I

don't know how much better it can get!

Aunt June

Today my great aunt, June passed away.

I'll never forget her,

she was such a strong lady and always so happy.

I'll never forget how she always

wore pink lipstick,

when we would talk about basketball,

when I went to visit her house,

when I brought her to a basketball game,

when she rescued a dog from Hurricane Katrina.

She battled lung cancer for a few months,

but it got to her.

But now I know she's in a better place,

and I can't wait to see her when it's my time.

I'm glad I knew when it was my final

goodbye this summer.

I knew it was gonna be my last

hug and kiss goodbye and I'll never forget it.

I got to talk to her through video chat

this Thanksgiving and at my sister's wedding,

and I'm so happy I had the chance to

before it was too late.

Aunt June you'll be missed

and never forgotten.

Thankful

I'm thankful for a lot of things,

if I made a list it'd go on for days and days.

Here's just a people

that I'm thankful for,

and make my life complete.

My mom and dad: The parents that

support me through everything,

that raised me perfectly,

the people that give me everything,

the ones I want to be.

Kevin and Valerie: My brother and sister-in-law

are the best! I hope I can one day be

the perfect couple they are, and

I am so thankful they are so nice

to me and take me places whenever

I need them!

Kristy and Judd: My sister and {soon}

to be brother-in-law are amazing!

They are always so fun to be around,

they make me smile and laugh,

and I can't wait until they wed {this Saturday!}

Kendall: My best friend, the other

half. The girl I can completely

trust, who I can tell my secrets to,

the one I know doesn't talk bad about me.

Without her, I would never have

an amazing best friend like her!

Repeat?

So I made the freshmen girls

basketball team,

it's so much fun,

but it's pretty serious.

Basketball six days a week until

the end of February.

Plus they expect us to come

to practice on days off,

half days, thanksgiving break,

and even winter break!

It's called break for a reason,

to get away from anything school related

for a few days.

I love basketball but it's hard.

Hanging out with friends,

doing homework,

making sure my grades are up,

having a life!

So this pretty much is my schedule

for the next three months.

Sunday: Leave for training at 11:00,

get there at 12:00 can be an hour

or up to two hours. Get home around

1:30, start homework, shower, bed.

Monday: Leave the house at 7:00,

school until 2:30, practice starts

at 2:50, ends at 5:00, get home,

dinner, homework, shower, bed

{Repeat the rest of the week.}

Saturday: Depending on practice times,

it can start at 8:00 or 10:00.

Get up, practice for two hours,

shower, finally hang out with friends,

sleep and get ready for training the

next morning.

So this wraps up my life

for the next three months.

Oh besides practice times changing,

canceling, and even adding more practices!

No sleepovers for awhile,

and only hanging out with

friends once a week,

I'll have to get used to this.

I even have practice on black friday,

joy.

But it'll be all worth it in the

long run.

High School Adventures

So this guy makes me laugh.

A lot.

8th grade year felt like a blur to me, now that I realize it.

It felt like it was such a long school year but

now I wish it went by longer, I miss junior high.

I miss all the teachers, not having a ton of homework

and just having fun.

I love high school, but it's not the same,

I have to focus more on school work

and there's countless hours of homework every week.

I wish I could rewind my life back when I was

younger, or at least pause it for a little.

My mom always told me to enjoy my teenage years,

and now I'm finally realizing that I should be,

because I'll soon be graduating and

I'll be on my way to the real world

working and going to college.

I always wanted to be older than I was,

but now that I'm a teenager there's

nothing special about it, besides

having more freedom. I wish I could

have stayed a kid a little longer and

wouldn't have looked into the present so much.

I'll make sure to enjoy these last three and

half years left of high school, because after

that there's not much fun for awhile.

So me and this girl Sarah went to Mexico together,

for fall break,

and lets just say we had some pretty crazy times!

I had so much fun in Mazatlan and

laughed so hard!

That's the trip where we drove our parents crazy,

the trip where we went hunting for alligators,

the trip when we spied on celebs,

the trip where I almost lost my life,

the trip where I actually got a tan,

the trip I held a dead fish,

and the trip I'll never forget!

Oh and I almost forgot to tell you,

I got a life-size cut out of Biebs.

And no I'm not joking,

you should be jealous.

It's too much

I knew high school was going to be harder,

but I didn't think it'd get this hard.

I hate coming home from school

and having to do four hours of homework

almost every night.

Between homework, friends, family, and sports

it's becoming way too much.

Hopefully the teachers will give us less homework

the last two weeks of the quarter,

or they'll load us up on projects and essays.

I can't wait to get a break from school

it's much needed.

I cannot wait for Mexico!

So on Friday a bunch of my friends decided to buy me balloons

for my birthday even though it was on Saturday!

It was a great day, and I think I counted 64 balloons?

I love all of my friends so much,

and they made my birthday weekend amazing!

So a post is wayy over due,

I've just been super busy with school!

Well I promised I'd post some wedding pictures from
